MiddleChild 2009, was the first official 3rd year exhibition for the Art and Art History program. The initiative for this student-run show grew from the realization that there is an annual 1st & 2nd year exhibition, as well as a Grad show for 4th + years, but nothing for the middle A&AH child. Jessica Vallentin and Mallory Hazlett proceeded to post a call for any and all 3rd year work. All of the submitted work was put on display in the Annie Smith building at Sheridan College. The exhibition was installed over reading week and ran for the last week of February until the beginning of March, 2009. The opening took place on Tuesday Feb. 24th, 2009.
