Up and Away 2009, was the inaugural show for the student-run exhibition space at UTM, ‘Inset Space’. The theme for this show was a chance for students to play off of work in the current shows at the Blackwood Gallery, Fall Out and Fall In. The title also spoke to the launching of a new space for students to interact with and contribute to.

Inset Space is located in the North Building, in the last room on the first floor, closest to the soccer field. The room is a shared study space and computer lab as well as now an art space.
